Even though we lived in tents, we had Hooch Maids who did our laundry and kept our quarters as clean as feasible.

Note the wall paper in the left picture.  There is a reason for Playboys.

The Trash Run

390th One of the reality checks I found in Viet Nam was the run to the trash dump.  No where in America, including the worst of poverty level areas, have I ever heard of the people storming the garbage truck to unload it.  That is when I started to feel the position of the United States and the rest of the world.
